Find out when Jamie T is next playing live near you. Spat of intimate gigs this summer and a rare festival appearance here and there, live moments. Ever since his debut album Panic Prevention (one of my all time faves) I've been a fan.
Our grading system describes the quality of our stock. The first grade is for the sleeve and second grade is for the disc. VG/EX means that the item's sleeve is in Very Good condition and the disc is in Excellent condition. If there is only one condition, i.e. /EX, it means that the item is not in a picture sleeve and that the disc is excellent.
Records that aren't in picture sleeves will either be in a company sleeve or a generic plain sleeve. If you have any questions please get in touch. For our latest offers.

With out a doubt my favorite artist at the moment and he has just released another absolute belter of an album. For those unfamiliar with him here is a small wiki excerpt on his background and style: Jamie Alexander Treays1 (born 8 January 1986), known by his stage name Jamie T, is an English singer-songwriter from Wimbledon, South London.
Jamie T is currently signed to Virgin Records but has released his Betty and the Selfish Sons EP on his own Pacemaker Records label. His backing band are called The Pacemakers and have recently been touring, advertising, and releasing material as 'Jamie T and The Pacemakers'. He has been nicknamed 'one man Arctic Monkey'.14 Canvas magazine has described him as 'like the bastard lovechild of Billy Bragg and Mike Skinner doing his best Joe Strummer impression'.
A definite trait of his music is how effortlessly he seems to be able to bounce between genre's. Not just over the course of his discography or even within an album, but within songs - his influences ranging from Ska, Punk, Hip Hop, Garage Rock, and Alternative Rock. He has released 4 albums thus far. His first two, 'Panic Prevention' and 'Kings & Queens' offer a 'youth in revolt', kids running a muck in London feel.
He then disappeared from the scene completely for five years before releasing his third album 'Carry on the Grudge', a far more somber and mature release than his first two. His latest release, 'Trick' is possibly his best yet and after multiple listens I have struggled to find a weak song (all imo of course).
'Drone Strike' is just a banger of a tune, and has had me walking around like an idiot singing 'DRONES, DRONES, DRONES, DRONES, DRONES'. 'Tescoland', possibly my favourite from the new album is much more reminiscent of the Jamie T of Kings & Queen's whilst he definitely shows off the ska influence to a lot of his music with 'Power Over Men'. If there was to be a criticism to be made of this album it could be that it lacks the direction that the rebellious 'Panic Prevention' had, the playfulness of 'Kings & Queens' and the restraint of 'Carry on the Grudge' (I personally wont be making that criticism). But overall, song for song, 'Trick' shows off a Jamie T who seems to be writing quality material at will, and has got me very excited. Haven't seen much (if any) chat on Jamie T here before now so thought I would open up a discussion. Would love to get your thoughts.
